South Bristol Divers are a friendly and sociable diving club based in Bedminster since 1967 and a branch of The British Sub Aqua Club.
South Bristol Divers have a number of instructors and members consisting of various grades, and teach diving to anyone from 14 years of age upwards, from very beginner level to the very highest standard.
South Bristol Divers recognises and welcomes divers trained from any professional diving organisation including BSAC, PADI, SAA, NAUI, HSE, NASDS, CMAS, TDI, ANDI, IANTD, PSAI, DSAT.
South Bristol Divers has the use of a swimming pool for training every Tuesday and provides
scuba equipment for use free of charge during pool training, which is also available for use in open water for a small hire fee; A fully equipped Humber RIB including oxygen kit and all safety equipment and a training room for theory lessons, along with all necessary teaching aids/equipment.
It’s not all about diving, South Bristol Divers have a number of social members and non diving families who join in our social events and get togethers including meals, activities and holidays.
South Bristol Divers meet at Bristol South Swimming Baths, Dean Lane, Bedminster, Bristol, BS3 1BS. Every Tuesday 8.30pm - 9.30 pm, then socialise in The Robert Fitzharding (Wetherspoons) Pub around the corner from 9.30pm
