HorseWorld Charity Open Day
An opportunity to see what goes on at HorseWorld’s Welfare Department which is not normally open to the public. Those who adopt HorseWorld animals will be able to see them and there will be set talks and tours throughout the day. If you don’t already adopt an animal, there will be the opportunity to do so. This is a day that is open to everyone including children and disabled. 4th October. Details

But where historical evidence can be found, the lives they led and the contributions they made to society make for compelling stories. At Arnos Vale cemetery, we set the historic record straight with a special guided tour focusing on the great and good women remembered here from Victorian, Edwardian and 20 century Bristol. 4th October. Brandon Hill Chamber Orchestra
Grieg’s Piano Concerto forms the centre-piece of this varied programme conducted by the Hallé Orchestra’s assistant conductor, Jamie Phillips, with the young Romanian pianist Alexandra Dariescu. This concert provides a rare opportunity to hear the first movement of Beethoven’s 10th Symphony in a reconstruction by Professor Barry Cooper. 4th October. St George’s Bristol. Details
