BSL Taster Day

Learn to sign week

Centre for the Deaf are hosting a BSL taster day for anyone that is interested in learning how to sign or communicate with Deaf people.

There is a maximum of 12 people in one class for BSL level one and a maximum of 10 people in one class for BSL level two.

A form will be provided when you contact me, with more information and details to fill out.

Communication Group - Bristol

Where: Centre for the Deaf - Bristol

When: Every Monday 2pm - 4pm


What do we do:
We encourage positive use of “Total Communication” recognizing the importance of using all methods of communications, including: British Sign Language, Sign Supported English, use of voice, finger spelling, lip reading and Makaton.  The Communication group holds social/educational sessions which enables participants to take part in many different activities such as Arts and Crafts, Life Skills, games and outings to local places of interest.
