Arts and Crafts, Music and Dance
Watercolours,
oils and acrylics, life drawing, textiles, patchwork and quilting,
embroidery, upholstery, cushions, curtains and covers, jewellery,
stained glass, pottery, photography and interior design. Afro-Samba and
Arabic dance, line dancing, recorders and singing.
The largest local provider of language classes with 16 languages from Arabic to Welsh, at all levels.
Courses at all levels in French,
Spanish, Italian, German, Portuguese, Swahili and Arabic. Cultural days
and cooking and films in foreign languages
Computers
For
absolute beginners and more advanced learners. A chance to learn new
skills, without the pressure of exams, including buying your first
computer to internet, image manipulation, web design, ipods and MP3
players.
DIY, Construction and Gardening
Learn
the skills to work on your own home, including bricklaying, plastering,
plumbing, electrical wiring, and simple DIY. Also gardening and garden
design.
Wellbeing
Enhance your life and
wellbeing with a course in massage, Tai chi, Yoga, Keep Fit, healthy
and indulgent cookery, and wine tasting.
