1929 was a big year for South Bristol, work began on the new airport based in Whitchurch, and Bobbie Burns Snr opened his upholstery workshop on North St.
This family-run business, which has now been passed down to Bobbie Burns Jnr, has been servicing the furniture needs of South Bristol ever since!

Bobbie uses traditional methods to transform both antique and modern furniture, from horsehair to felt, all kinds of materials are available, or if you have something in mind he will happily use your own material.

Bobbie boasts an impressive client list and has worked on projects ranging from large-scale re-upholstery for British rail, to more local projects including The Lounge on North St.
