Old Down Country Park offers a fun day out for the whole family. Set in 68 acres of countryside the park is home to over 100 animals including wallabies, Shetland ponies, alpacas, pigs, reindeer and cows. Visitors can follow the animal trails around the park taking in the stunning views of the Severn Estuary, lake and rockery along the way.

The park also boasts an orchard walk, woodland and peaceful Victorian Walled garden where fruit and veg is grown in abundance. You can find this produce in the Old Down farm shop along with local meats and cheeses, fresh bread and lots of great gift ideas.

For the older children there is a large adventure playground and rustic café area to relax. The café is open daily and serves a large range of homemade cakes, hot and cold snacks and drinks. The park hosts kids parties and the café area is also available for private party hire.

Old Down Country Park is located just off the A38 and is easily accessible from Bristol, Thornbury and the M5 / M4 / M48 motorway system. There is ample free parking at the park.
