Amoeba is a sophisticated, comfy cafe by day and a cool laid back bar with a huge range of belgian and world wide beers by night. Open till 1.30am with funk, soul, groove and upbeat happy party music from brilliant resident DJs who play every Friday and Saturday.

We have a brand new range of world beers in at the moment taking the total to 40 including californain steam beers, jamaican stout, new york vienna style lager, southern states belgian style lagers, belgian fruit beers, baverian smoke beers and a more summery feel all round, the cocktail list is still fresh and we are offering new cocktails every month, the spirit range now includes some particularly fine rums and gins and of course there’s still the student discount of 10% after 5 pm and the new "Rah Card" for those who work or live in clifton...

Events
We also have loads of events on including monthly themed parties, regular open mics (wed) which now feature special guest bands each week, plus we will be staging even more live music on sunday nights. Join our facebook group  for updates and special invites.

Daytimes
Other than that we are still showing exhibitions of local artists’ work, and we are open during the day as a cafe. We do doorstep sandwiches, great coffee and scrummy lunches til 4pm, and for the smokers and alfresco aficionados we have a heated secret garden out the back.

Weekends
Open until 1am, Amoeba gets groovy with regular DJs Loosegroove and Moshi Moshi spinning funky dancing tunes...time to grab a cocktail or few and get your party shoes on
