What is a Cocktail Clinic?
Cocktail Clinics are a hands on, innovative way to learn how to make cocktails from our professional bartenders. You will come away with some knowledge of cocktail making, some skills you will be able to take home and having had a lot of fun in the process!

Cocktail Clinics are ideal for groups of between 5 and 30. They are very popular with hen/stag parties, birthday parties and as team building events.

What to expect on the day
You will have the upstairs bar area exclusively for your party, and 1 to 2 bartenders taking the session. To begin with you will be talked through some basic bar knowledge, including some of the spirits and the equipment we use. You will be shown how to “free pour” (pour the correct amount without using a measure) and will each get a chance to go behind the bar and test yourself on your free pouring. The bartenders will then show you how to make a cocktail and talk you through what they are doing at each step… Then it’s your turn! You will each get to go behind the bar and make the cocktail that you have just learnt. Then you can sit and enjoy drinking your cocktail while you watch the rest of the group. Once everyone is ready to move on you will do the same thing again with a second cocktail, and finally with a shooter.

We are very flexible with how we run the Clinics as different groups want different experiences. If you are here for more of a learning experience, we can make it more educational with our bartenders teaching you in more depth about what we do and why. On the other hand, if you are simply looking to have a fun afternoon, we will throw in some games and competitions to make sure everyone gets involved and has a good time. Please let us know in advance what sort of experience you want so can be sure you get the most out of it!
