Better still let us welcome you to the picturesque surroundings of our golf club at Henbury in Bristol. We are situated in a magnificent parkland setting of mature woodlands bordering the famous Blaise Castle Estate. The course is very conveniently located just 5 minutes from the M5 motorway (J 17) and with easy access from Bristol City Centre. We have great views over Westbury on Trym and to the countryside beyond. The little stream which meanders its way through the lower part of the course is the feature of a challenging par 3 which is one of the best of its type in the South West.
Each year we proudly host the prestigious City & County of Bristol Championship. Many of its former winners have progressed to successful careers on the professional circuit.
Henbury is a truly friendly members club with very active golf and social calendars. We always extend a warm welcome to visitors – both during the week and at week-ends. We host a number of societies and are pleased to welcome them back year after year. Please see our Societies page for further information and details of special offers.
If you need a beautiful venue for your function we would be delighted to discuss your specific requirements. Our terrace overlooking the course is just perfect for a drink on a summer’s day. We pride ourselves with the quality of our catering and the range of food available.

The ClubhouseThe bar and catering operation is run by our experienced steward and stewardess Paul & Debbie Taylor.
Paul, Debbie and their staff will be pleased to look after you before and after you have played.
We have a comprehensive selection of beers, lagers, wines and other drinks.
Our kitchen can provide you with a wide range of food from tea time snacks through to gourmet meals
Bar & Catering HoursThe bar and catering operation is open from 11am every day. The bar closes at 10.30pm during the summer period which starts in March and runs through to the end of October. The bar closes earlier on certain days during the winter. A full catering menu is available from 11am to 3pm on all days. A more limited menu is in place after these hours.
FunctionsThe clubhouse is available for your function whether it’s a wedding reception, anniversary or birthday party. You can organize your own band or disco but we will be happy to do this for you if you wish. Paul and Debbie Taylor will be pleased to provide a menu suitable for your special occasion.
We are also pleased to cater for wakes. Please telephone for details.
Business Meetings (Free Wi-Fi)
Do you need a room for those important meetings, followed by lunch and maybe a few holes of golf?
At Henbury Golf Club we can provide you with a meeting room to accommodate up to 12 people board room style or 16 theatre style. The room is complete with wi-fi access and an overhead projector.
Tea, coffee and biscuits will be supplied as requested. If you require lunch this can be a buffet or sit down meal served in the meeting room or in the club’s dining room.
After lunch you can continue with your meeting, return to your office or perhaps you would like to wind down with a round of golf on our beautiful golf course. Henbury is a parkland course in mature woodland bordering the famous Blaise Castle Estate providing a number of different challenges including the par 3 7thover the River Trym. The course is maintained in excellent condition throughout the year and our fine greens are the envy of many clubs.

Societies
Henbury is popular with societies.
Normal society days are Tuesday and Friday although small groups can be accommodated at other times, subject to course bookings.
