With a feature wall painted by a local graffiti artist and a little shop on board for the sale of locally produced arts and crafts Under the Stars celebrates the art scene in Bristol and encourages creativity in its customers. From the colouring sheets for children to the creative events for adults, this venue expresses openly its passion for the arts. Under the Stars is not only a tribute to the creative talent of local people but also to the food they produce, with a menu sourced entirely by local suppliers you will be able to enjoy locally brewed beer from the Bristol Beer Factory, fresh and creamy Marshfield Farm ice cream and tasty olives from The Real Olive Company. We pride ourselves on our relationship with our suppliers and can guarantee that when you sit down for any of our dishes you will not be disappointed.

 

 

We boast the only Shisha bar on the Harbourside. Egyptians call it Shisha, Lebanese refer to it as Nargile, in English it is Hookah. We call it relaxation. This ancient water pipe has been used for centuries to smoke away the day’s stress, while relaxing with friends and family. Under the Stars offers a local, water side venue to smoke your hard day away and a relaxing site to ponder the art work or films seen in our neighbouring gallery and cinema. We are in the privileged position to offer a large outdoor seating capacity, which means that we have an entire section on our top deck dedicated to Shisha smoking without limiting the outdoor seating for non-smokers. Whether you are winding down from a night on the town or enjoying the summer breeze on our top deck we hope that you will sail away with us on this relaxing Hookah journey.

With an exciting list of alternative events, Under the Stars will always offer an evening you can enjoy. Monday’s will provide the ideal warm up to the student night at our local nightclub Oceana, where cheap drinks offers and nibbles will entice students to enjoy their early doors with us. Our Quiz Night will rack your brain and get you up on the water skis during the wii sports round. With a large wall space dedicated to film projection on board our boat, Film Night at Under the Stars will make you feel comfy and cosy, with a choice of fresh popcorn and Marshfield Farm ice cream we present our Not-so-Orange Wednesdays. Thursday will see a whole host of activities every month with rotating events such as bingo, poetry readings and karaoke. Every Friday Under the Stars will transform into the stage for local musicians to come out and play.
