11-13th July Bristol Wine & Food Fair at The Harbourside Bristol. Taste over 100 wines from all over the world, for free. Buy by the glass, bottle or case, featuring wine and cheese tutored tastings, handy tips from inspirational chefs, with the opportunity to buy produce from the region’s acclaimed food, drink and cheese producers. www.bristolwineandfoodfair.com
9th and 10th May - The Consumer Show at Castle Park , Bristol. The show coincides with World Fair Trade Day (May 10), around 60 exhibitors, a local food market and more than 10,000 visitors are expected over the two days. Entry is free, and there will be a programme of seminars and workshops.
31st May- 3rd June Bristol Vegan Fair, Bristol Amphitheatre and Waterfront Square, Harbourside, Bristol.
2nd June Bristol Biggest Bike Ride, the 15th annual ride will set off from Millennium Square and ends at Greville Smyth Park in Southville. The ride offers a choice of five routes ranging from nine to 38 miles.
Venn 2008 5th- 8th June - A four-day festival of musical overlap, art and sound pushing taking place at various venues around the city of Bristol.-day festival of musical overlap, art and sound pushing.
7-8th June Bristol. Following the growing success of Bristol Bikefest the event will return to Ashton Court on the 7-8th June 2008. As in 2007 the events include a 12 hour event on Saturday and the 6 hour event on Sunday.
7th June until 22nd June. The fantastic Ladyboys of Bangkok " Devils and Angels" show returns to Castle Park, Broadmead, Bristol. The sensational new production will feature non-stop hits from the Spice Girls tribute to Broadway show stoppers from Grease to Moulin Rouge.
